He is carrying out this challenge for the benefit of the Douglas Foundation to support mental health research and invites the public to support the cause now by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fondationdouglas.qc.ca\/en\/donate\/\">making a donation<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Jay chose to support the Douglas for its international reputation in terms of research, care and teaching in mental health. The Douglas Institute is home to the largest mental health research center in Quebec: its objective is to promote mental health through understanding the causes, treatment and prevention of psychiatric disorders by applying cutting-edge scientific methods to the particular challenges posed by mental illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>To support Jay Du Temple&#8217;s fundraiser, <strong><a
